Jimmy's Restaurant and Bar has the one of the best views in Galveston, with the only “over the waves” dining on the Island. The eatery is fully-enclosed for the winter, with a fireplace and heater to keep you cozy through the cooler months. On warmer days, the deck opens all the way around to offer panoramic views of our amazing gulf.

Jimmy's is also full-service, allowing you to relax and enjoy the environment while the staff takes care of your dining experience.

Breakfast is served on weekends, and you'll enjoy the homemade waffles, breakfast burritos, biscuits and one of the best lattes south of the Seawall.

Lunch and dinner are served Thursday through Sunday. The house specialty is fresh fish tacos, made with locally-caught grouper, and served with white wine caper sauce. The shrimp poboy is a favorite as well, but Jimmy's has much more than seafood to enjoy. They also have an extensive kids menu with pizza, chicken nuggets, and more.

The bar offers an extensive collection of premium beers and Texas wines. Favorites include Skrimshaw Pilsner, Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA, Brewhouse Brown Ale, Fat Tire Amber, ShockTop, and Maui Coconut Porter.

Jimmy's Bar is open a bit later than the kitchen on busy nights, but they do occasionally close early if the weather isn't cooperating. So when it's after 9pm or if the weather looks doubtful, you might want to call first to avoid being disappointed when you arrive.

The staff at Jimmy's on the Pier aims to consistently deliver an “off the hook” guest experience. "The best view in town" is the perfect companion to a great meal.
